Harris Wallace is a 3rd year undergraduate at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia where he is majoring in philosophy, politics, and economics with a minor in religion. Harris previously served as a Democracy Fellow working to turn Mercer students out to vote through education and activation programming. In his role as a National Programming Intern, Harris works to develop professional development and civic literacy resources for the Campus Vote Project’s Democracy Fellows. He is passionate about enhancing civic education for all students and hopes to work in local government after graduating.

Larry Wesley III is a senior at the University of San Francisco, majoring in Politics with minors in Criminal Justice Studies and Public Service and Community Engagement. Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, and raised in a military family, Larry’s upbringing took him coast to coast—shaping his commitment to service and his understanding of the diverse challenges communities face. Before joining the Fair Elections Center’s Campus Vote Project, Larry interned in the United States House of Representatives, where he supported legislative research and constituent services. Larry plans to pursue both a Master of Divinity and a law degree to become a prison chaplain committed to faith-based healing and systemic reform.

Elena Edwards is a proud Texan and graduate of the University of Texas, where her interest in voting rights began through volunteer work registering student voters on campus. As an undergraduate, she interned with Public Citizen’s Democracy Is For People campaign, supporting legislative efforts to strengthen voting rights. Now a rising 3L at The George Washington University Law School, she continues to pursue her commitment to democracy and civic engagement through coursework and legal internships. She previously interned with Government Accountability Project’s Democracy Protection Initiative, where her work focused on issues related to government transparency and electoral integrity. This summer, she is excited to intern with Fair Elections Center and gain hands-on experience in voting rights litigation.

Aadam Barclay is a rising third-year law student at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to interning at the Fair Elections Center, he has previously completed legal internships at the Harvard Election Law Clinic and the ACLU of Pennsylvania. Before attending law school, he worked as a researcher at the government accountability organization American Oversight, where his investigations included efforts to undermine public confidence in elections.

Ithar M. Hassan is a Juris Doctor candidate at American University Washington College of Law. Ithar previously studied at Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies.

Her legal experience spans civil rights litigation, election law, and congressional investigations. She has interned with the American Civil Liberties Union, the U.S. Senate Committee on Rules and Administration, the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, and is currently a summer legal intern at the Fair Elections Center. Ithar also has extensive experience in political organizing and voter protection work with the Democratic Party of Virginia, where she led voter outreach, trained volunteers, and coordinated legal compliance efforts.

Ithar brings a commitment to democratic integrity, public service, and civil rights advocacy.
